First of all, thank you all so much for all the Happy Father's Day wishes. It was a tough day, but thanks to my good friend Joseph for getting me out of the house. We took a long bike ride down to the south end of the beach, back up around the loop in Wrightsville Beach, and then some. I would say all together, we traveled a good 15-20 miles and I was certainly in a much better state of mind when I was done. Exercise certainly uplifts your soul. As you all know Wednesday June 23rd is Kayleigh's birthday and what I feel would be a good gift for Kayleigh up in Heaven is that every single one of you share her story with someone you know, don't know or needs to know so that they too can be touched by an Angel. One thing that I know for sure, and I am sure Aimee would agree with me, is that we will never stop sharing Kayleigh's story with the world. I am so excited because next weekend, my Mom and Dad will be venturing out to Wilmington to spend the weekend with me and all my great friends. It will be their first time coming out here and we have some exciting events planned. A good handful of us are all gonna go out to eat at a beautiful restaurant downtown on the waterway to enjoy the beautiful sunset and then dive in to a delicous "Healthy" home made cake made with love by my mom to celebrate Kayleigh's birthday. It is going to be wonderful and I am so looking forward to having my friends and family there with me. Other events for the weekend are not yet set in stone, but here are some of the options we may be doing: Airlie Gardens , Battleship North Carolina , Fort Fisher Aquarium , Exercising at O2 Fitness , Walking the Loop and the beach in Wrightsville Beach , and other exciting times. We only have the weekend, so we will have to pick the best of the best this time around. It will be a great weekend to celebrat...
